After modeling the Diskwriter case, I had a fire lit under me to learn Fusion. This is my first 100% model to print using only Fusion. Only took me two tries to get to where I am comfortable selling the part.
This is the second version with a real hinge. It works and closes. This version has a much higher lid lip and has half of a clasp. The clasp was too big so I cut it out. A major flaw with a field mod I did are the hinge tubes. I did not give them the proper support and one easily snapped off. I printed the final version mod part and glued it in. I also included one each extra top and bottom hinge tube if the other two happen to snap off you can fix it right up. This has a wooden dowel for the hinge pin and it has the final version hinge tube plug crammed in there.
It stays closed and looks really good on a shelf or you can put stuff in it on a flat surface. This version is the final size and final finish. This does not include the foam insert for a disk, just the case.
